The GHF is going fully virtual!
Given the worrying evolution of the outbreak of coronavirus worldwide, the Geneva University
Hospitals (HUG) and the University of Geneva, organizers of the Geneva Health Forum (GHF),
together with the programme Committee of the Geneva Health Forum, have decided that the next
edition of the Forum, due to take place from 16 th to 18 th November 2020, will be held in a fully
virtual way.
These are difficult times for all. But we believe that now more than ever, we need a Forum
gathering all the key actors of global health and humanitarian action. We are trying to be agile in a
complex situation.
We would like to state that we also see this as an opportunity to reach a greater audience, which
aligns with our goal of giving a voice to actors from the field and bringing them closer to the
discussions held in International Geneva on global health.
We have developed an attractive programme that should be interesting to all our GHF community.
We will have 21 online sessions that will be broadcasted live during our 3 days event and that will
remain available for our participants for 3 months after the event. These sessions will be held in a
professional studio, giving you the best experience that a virtual session can offer. We will be
tackling, with our network of key actors in Geneva and beyond, the global health crisis that impacts
all of us, without forgetting critical issues that are and will remain crucial global health challenges,
such as Universal Health Coverage, E-Health, Neglected Tropical Diseases, SDGs, Cancer or the impact
of Climate change.
We will also offer virtual exhibition booths where you can get to know and meet key global health
actors. Our Innovation Fair, which is one of the major attractions of the Forum, showcasing the
dynamism of innovative solutions worldwide, will be present in a virtual way as well. Our selected
scientific posters will also be showcased and presented live by their authors. Finally, we will have a
dynamic networking tool so that you can take the best out of your experience and get to know
people working in your area of interest, in your region or in your field of expertise!
Join us for a whole new GHF experience!

Nowadays, crucial Global Health actors, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), are among the key partners of the Geneva Health Forum.
As the complexity of global health challenges is growing, answering to those challenges requires a multidisciplinary approach as well as being able to bring innovative solutions. The Geneva Health Forum aims to present innovative, accessible and sustainable practices in order to facilitate access to care and health equity.
